The hillstations of the Nilgiris is a popular travel destination. There are cloud kissing peaks, dense forests, rushing streams and breathtaking valleys. Tea, coffee, cardomom and pepper are grown in these estates. The Tea factory turns these lush green tea leaves into brown tea.

Wild life is an integral part of the hillstation. Elephant herds, bisons, wild boars, deers, tigers and peacocks inhabit the forests of the Nilgiris. Trekking is an activity many tourists enjoy in the valley.

Ooty is another tourist destination. The roads leading to Ooty have many hairpin bends and capture the flora and fauna of the region. Many varieties of tea, coffee, fruits, chocolates, cheese and eucalyptus oil are sold in the stores of this beautiful town.
